Philips BDP5506 is an excellent Blu-ray player with built in Wi-Fi, simple user interface, 3D compatibility and some high quality online streaming media services like Netflix, Pandora and Vudu. Its MediaConnect screencasting feature enables you to stream the screen of a notebook directly to BDP5506. With this device, you can enjoy the latest in Blu-ray technology, from wireless access to 3D playback to video on social networking and Demand favorites. Surf the Web, view the content from your desktop and wirelessly share it on your television with Philips MediaConnect. With BDP5506, you will be enthralled by 3D movies in your own living room on full high definition 3D television. The Active 3D uses latest generation of fast switching displays for realism and real life depth in full high definition 1920 x 1080 resolution.

By watching images through special glasses, which are timed to close and open and right and left lenses in synchronization with alternating photos, the full high definition 3D viewing experience is created. With Philips BDP5506, you can experience rich selection of online service with Net TV wirelessly. Enjoy infotainment, movies, pictures and other online content directly on your television. We take Blu-ray playback for granted nowadays with vast majority of players pumping out nearly similar image quality. The BDP5506 is an exception failing many of standard features of today’s Blu-ray players. It is available for the price of $165, and lacks plenty of premium online media streaming services offered on other models, including Amazon Instant, Hulu Plus and MLB. TV.

The Philips BDP5506 provides exclusive MediaConnect screencasting feature and shoppers will be better off with midrange models like LG BD670 and Panasonic DMP-BDT210. The company generally has a knack for distinctive designs, but BDP5506 looks like generic Blu-ray player with gray notch beneath disc drive. The touch sensitive front panel buttons work well; the USB port is on the far right. The remote control included is well designed with centrally positioned directional pad and Blu-ray centric buttons such as popup menu surrounding it. The big home button on the top allows you to escape back to main menu, while playback buttons are quite small with strangely buried eject button at the bottom.

The Philips BDP5506’s home menu screen is one of the most straightforward ever designed with simple options like play disc, browse Net TV and browse USB. Once you choose the Net TV streaming content portal, the design is not that nice as compared to LG and Panasonic jumbo size icons, which are easy to read. It has a more cluttered look with plenty of small icons to stream services. However, you will find plethora of services of dubious quality and offered Netflix application that has updated interface enabling for search and extensive browsing options. The main differentiating feature of Philips is its MediaConnect that lets you display contents of notebook wirelessly.

Sadly, the Philips BDP5506 works only with one of two routers and doesn’t offer official list of recommended routers. Some of the connectivity options include built in Wi-Fi, single HDMI output, USB port, stereo analog output and coaxial digital audio output. There are quite a few media streaming features such as Netflix, Vudu, Picasa, Facebook, Twitter and Weather. The Net TV suite of service of this device covers plenty of most significant services like Pandora, Netflix and Vudu. Standard features on Philips BDP5506 include D/A converter: 12 bit / 150MHz; Picture enhancement: Progressive scan, Video upscaling, High Def (720p, 1080i, 1080p), Noise Reduction; Aspect ratio: 16:9, 4:3.

Also standard on Philips BDP5506 are Sound System: Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby True HD, DTS-HD Master Audio Essential; Playback Media: CD-R/CD-RW, DVD-Video, DVDR/-RW, CD, DVD, BD 3D, BD Video, BD-R/RE 2.0 and BD-ROM; Compression formats: MPEG2, H.264, AVCHD; Video disc playback system: NTSC; Disc Playback Modes: Angle, Disc Menu, Pause, Repeat, Resume Playback from Stop, Skip, Search, forward/reverse, Slow Forward, Standard Play; DVD Region: 1; Picture Quality Enhancements: Video upscaling; Video Enhancement: Progressive Scan, Video Upscaling; BD Region: A; Audio Playback Media: MP3-CD, CD-R/RW, CD, MP3-DVD; Compression format: MP3, PCM, Dolby Digital, DTS.

The Philips BDP5506 adds Multichannel decoding: Dolby Digital; Still Picture Playback Media: CD-R/RW, DVD-R/-RW, Kodak and Picture CD; Picture Compression Format: JPEG; Picture Enhancement: Slideshow, Rotate, Zoom, High Definition Resolution; Playback Formats: JPEG Still pictures, MP3; Child Protection: Parental Control; OSD Languages: English, French, Spanish; Accessories: Audio Cable, Quick start, guide, IFU / User Manual, Product Registration Card; Remote Control with 2 x AAA Batteries and User Manual: English, French, Spanish; HDMI output; Composite video output; 7.1 channel audio line-out; Audio line-out; USB and Digital audio output. Even with its faults, the cost is similar to other, superior competing Blu-ray players.

Toshiba BDX5200 is a Wi-Fi enabled 3D Blu-ray player that offers 3D compatibility, simple user interface, some high quality streaming media services such as Netflix, Pandora and Vudu, superior sound and picture quality, 6x picture resolution of DVD, plays all DVD discs, full high definition 1080p/24 output, online streaming, DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD, progressive scan 3:2 pulldown, DVD upconversion, sleek design and is less expensive as compared to other midrange Blu-ray players in the market. Discover a complete new dimension of Blu-ray with Toshiba – your ticket to streaming and striking 3D entertainment too. This machine splashes 3D movies across the large display in head-turning 1080p full high definition and pumps speakers full of prestigious sound with its DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD.

With 3D capability the Toshiba BDX5200 allows you to enjoy movies and games in truly impressive 3D; on the other hand it lets you stream content from some of the most famous online services such as Netflix, Blockbuster on Demand, Pandora and Vudu. With built in Wi-Fi, you will enjoy convenient in-home connectivity without the hassle of cables for streaming content from internet or media server. Wirelessly connect to home network and easily access shared media directly on your television with Wi-Fi capability. The world of 3D entertainment is yours with this device, since it provides support for wraparound visuals found on plenty of 3D Blu-ray discs.

Since the Toshiba BDX5200 supports full high definition 1080p/24 frames per second resolution, it enables for high quality 2D viewing experience. The DVDs will get higher quality as well because it upconverts them to 1080p, 720p or 1080i. The Toshiba BDX5200 is less expensive as compared to other midrange Blu-ray players in the market, but lacks worthwhile speedy performance and additional features. Toshiba isn’t the only manufacturer of Blu-ray players, but the original backer of now-dead HD-DVD format at present provides full line of Blu-ray devices. The BDX5200 is one of the midrange models of the company providing modest suite of streaming media services such as Netflix, Vudu and Pandora, built in Wi-Fi and 3D compatibility.

The Toshiba BDX5200 is available with street price under $140, which will save some extra cash than high end midrange Blu-ray players, including LG BD67 and Panasonic DMP-BDT210. It is considerably slower as compared to usual 2011 Blu-ray devices and lacks common features such as DLNA compatibility and smartphone control, providing fewer streaming media services. It is a passable player for those who are on a budget for less value as compared to rivals. However, most buyers will be better served spending slight more for one of the superior-rated Blu-ray devices.

The Toshiba BDX5200 has dual tone gray and black finish, and there is basically nothing at the front panel save for disc tray on left and SD memory card slot on right. With no physical buttons, the front panel control is controlled by touch sensitive illuminated buttons, which appear left of SD card slot. You would generally prefer the physical buttons, and touch sensitive keys of Toshiba are good example. The remote control included gets plenty of significant functions right with power and eject buttons adequately positioned on the top. The playback controls are quite small, while standard Blu-ray buttons such as popup menu doesn’t surround directional pad. As compared to other midrange Blu-ray players in the market, you will not be able to control the Toshiba with a smartphone application.

The user interface of Toshiba BDX5200 is pretty simple with visual appeal of LG and Panasonic. As compared to other models, which force you to load full content portal for browsing media streaming services, the BDX5200 allows you to access services right from main menu. One of the most recent incarnations is Netflix, which allows you to browse for titles and search movies. The streaming media experience of Toshiba is straightforward; however it is easier for Toshiba to be simple, because it provides very few services than rivals.

The Toshiba BDX5200 comes packed with quite a few impressive features such as built in Wi-Fi and 3D Blu-ray support, but lacks gizmos available on other models including onboard memory or 2D to 3D conversion. It also doesn’t feature DLNA compatibility, which is standard on all Blu-ray players in the market. Some of the media streaming features include Netflix, Vudu, YouTube and Pandora. The company’s suite of media streaming services hits a lot of most important services you would like. The connectivity options include HDMI output, USB port, analog stereo output, coaxial digital audio output and SD memory card slot.

Standard features on Toshiba BDX5200 include video resolution 1080p; RCA video; SD card; Ethernet port; USB port; full HD 1080P/24FPS; playable disc types: CD-RW, DVD-R, CD-R, CD-DA, DVD-Video, DVD-RW, BD-RE, BD-R, CD and BD-ROM; video conversion: 1080p-24fps, 1080i, 720p and 1080p; Multi-Camera Angle Select; Multi-Subtitle Select; JPEG Viewer; Dolby Digital; Dolby Digital Plus; Dolby TrueHD; Surround Sound; DTS HD, DTS, WMA & MP3 Playback; Analog 2CH Audio; RCA Video (Composite); SD Card; USB Port; Built-In WIFI; HDMI CEC; 3D Capability; Streaming Services; YouTube, VUDU, Pandora, Netflix, CinemaNow; WI-FI; BD-Live; Remote Control Included. Overall, it costs less as compared to other midrange models, but lacks speedy performance and worthwhile features.

LG 47LV5500 is an easy to use, affordably priced and full features LED television that offers plethora of connectivity options, excellent design, evinced accurate colors, solid video processing, Wi-Fi dongle, secondary motion-sensitive remote that offers intuitive, cool option, Smart Internet Portal, which is well designed with solid selection of streaming services and is relatively less expensive. It is a decent performer in this price range and comes with impressive Smart TV package, but spending little more on different model would reap large rewards. A legendary easy way to access limitless content, best of the Web, thousands of movies, videos, customizable applications all organized in intuitive interface. You can choose and point selections with the distinctive remote motion controlled Magic Remote of LG.

With LG 47LV5500, it is quite easy to tailor LG Smart TV Home Dashboard, so it has the live TV, custom applications and streaming video you need. Enjoy LG applications designed for Smart TV that are exclusively made for you; check you horoscope, check the weather in your neighbourhood and play games right on the television. From news and entertainment to education, the Smart TV offers applications, the entire family can enjoy. If you are tired of dull colors and dark scenes, then LED technology of LG offers amazing brightness and slim profile, color detail and clarity along with greater energy efficiency than other traditional LCD televisions. The TruMotion 120GHz technology allows to watch sports, high speed action and video games with virtually no motion blur.

When it comes to picture quality, the beauty is in its details. With almost double the pixel resolution, the LG 47LV5500’s full high definition 1080p offers superior picture quality as compared to standard high definition television. You will see colors and details like never before. Some of the technology found in other high performance televisions might appear in some form in lower and middle end sets also. The LV5500 is a midrange television, which doesn’t quite hit the marks. However, it is one of the least expensive LCD, LED-based televisions in the market, which is not spectacular and simply decent.

LG has questionably struggled for maintaining consistent level of design and can produce a TV like reasonably stylish LW9800 and LW5600, but it made some strange decisions with the LG 47LV5500. It looks similar to other televisions with rectangular design and piano black coating. Both Samsung and LG at present favor transparent edges. The included standard remote control features Magic Motion Clicker. It is identical to other remote controls with backlit keys and centralized directional pad. Nevertheless, the lack of definition between directional pad and buttons makes it easy to press the wrong button. The Magic Motion remote works like Nintendo Wii controller for allowing to opt for menu items and use plenty of other Smart TV functions.

Some of the key features of LG 47LV5500 include 120Hz of refresh rate, edge lit LED backlight display, included wireless dongle, Dejudder smooth processing and secondary motion based RF remote control. The media streaming applications include Netflix, Amazon Instant, Vudu, Web browser, Facebook, YouTube, Hulu Plus, Skype and Twitter. Additional premium services include CinemaNow, Picasa, MLB.TV, Google Maps, Napster, AP News, vTuner, and AccuWeather. It offers six adjustable picture modes, three color temperature presets, three gamma presets, fine dejudder control, 10-point fine color temperature control and color management system. The LG 47LV5500 offers plethora of connectivity options; these include four HDMI inputs, two composite video inputs, two USB ports, component video input, VGA-Style PC input and Ethernet LAN port.

The LG 47LV5500’s picture quality is decent for the price, primarily because of the video processing and color accuracy. However, the black levels are lighter as compared to other rivals. Models, including Samsung UND6400 and LG LW5600 both provide much superior picture quality along with 3D option. Overall, it is a mean consumer, utilizing fewer watts per square inch as compared to 2011 LED televisions.

LG BD690 is a feature-packed Blu-ray player that offers fast, solid performance, unique functionality of ripping music CDs directly to built in 250GB hard drive, built in Wi-Fi, user interface for streaming media service content portal and plethora of media streaming services such as Netflix, vTuner, Amazon Instant, Napster, Hulu Plus, MOG and Vudu. The company is pushing the boundaries yet again with its all new Blu-ray player, a revolutionary model and first device of the world to be on Wi-Fi Direct certification list. The BD690 was launched at Consumer Electronics Show for 2011. It is an outstanding Blu-ray player with wide array of features, including VideoID, MusicID of Gracenote and can upscale older entertainment to be viewed in 1080p.

The LG BD690 has unique CD ripping functionality and superb feature set, but is quite expensive and slightly complicated to operate. It will appeal to tech-oriented people with its excellent suite of media streaming services and solid Blu-ray playback. You will also find other similarly priced models such as Sony PlayStation 3 Slim, which allows CD ripping, high definition gaming, Blu-ray playback and video streaming. The BD690 is available for the price of $260 and is a solid device with built in Gracenote service that does a wonderful job of automatically downloading metadata and album art, so digital music library stays well organized. It is a CD ripping, dead simple Blu-ray player.

The LG BD690’s chunky, thick look seems like a throwback now that other models have slimmed down. It measures 2.3 inches tall with front panel that has sleek look with no buttons; all are behind flip down door. You will also find a USB port at the front, which is convenient for fast connections. The remote control included is pretty good with Smart TV button to jump directly to media streaming services. However, you won’t find any dedicated buttons for CD-ripping functionality. Like all Blu-ray players of 2011, the BD690 can be controlled through a smartphone using Remote application of the company, offered for both iOS and Android. The application performs well, but you will not be able to use it to input text in Pandora and Netflix interfaces.

The user interface of LG BD690 features simple layout, but the labelling of LG and Premium application sections might be confusing for some. Premium offers the company’s wide array of media streaming services, including Pandora, Netflix and mire), while LG application provides application store, which carries quite a few functional programs. Once you get into streaming content portal, the interface is impressive. As compared to cluttered Smart Hub interface of Samsung, the streaming content home screen of LG boasts large icons for different services. One of the main reasons to purchase BD690 over other midrange, cheaper Blu-ray players is the unique CD-ripping feature.

The 250GB onboard storage of LG BD690 can also be used for BD-Live functionality along with CD ripping. Like all Blu-ray devices in this price range, it is DLNA compatible, which means it, allows you to stream digital media files over home network using DLNA server or off connected USB drive. Some of the media streaming services include Netflix, Amazon Instant, Vudu, Hulu Plus, MLB TV, YouTube, Pandora, Napster, Picasa, Weather, MOG and Gracenote MusicID. The connectivity options are HDMI outputs, component video output, USB port, stereo analog outputs and coaxial and optical digital audio outputs.

Kenmore 24 inch dishwasher was bought by me after my old machine died. I chose this home appliance ahead of others as it was more efficient with water usage and electricity. The performance of Kenmore dishwasher is quite good. There is smart wash cycle which automatically detects the amount of items inside and uses the appropriate amount of water. There are sensors inside which tell how empty or full the dishwasher is. Also, the large racks for pans or pots can hold a lot of dishes at a time and the washing is really good.

Another feature of this Kenmore dishwasher that is worth mentioning here is that if you accidentally open the appliance while it is washing the dishes inside, the machine automatically stops. Just close back the lid and press the start/pause button, and the product will automatically start where it left from.

If you are looking for high quality dishwashers from this company, take a look at the Kenmore 13742 which is kinda luxury product and it has a unique design. But if you are expecting some unique features inside like other expensive dishwashers, you will be bitterly disappointed because the Kenmore dishwasher doesn’t have any. Most people won’t be complaining about it though because all the basic requirements are fulfilled. Some of my friends have used this appliance, they say that it is very time saving and convenient.

Inside this Kenmore dishwasher, there is quick wash cycle and delay start options. There is very less noise emitted during operation and you can easily use this during the night when everyone is sleeping; they won’t get disturbed. The performance of this dishwasher too is really impressive and my friends say that this is the most reliable dishwasher that they have ever seen in their life to date. I would recommend this product for whom good looks matter a lot. There are some Websites saying negative things about it but when I tested the appliance, there weren’t any found.

The third Kenmore dishwasher that I want to talk about is Kenmore Model 665 which you can buy for around $200. It is the quietest dishwasher I have ever seen to date and come with 12 hour delay for washing. You can put all the items inside and schedule it to start at a later time. This dishwasher has five cycles for wash – Pots and Pans, China/Gentle, Normal Wash, Quick Rinse, and Time Saver.

It’s been more than a year of its arrival in the technology market, but the Apple’s iPad has entered the Indian market today on 28th of January 2011. So, we surely can say better late than never. But this was always on the cards, technology giant Apple’s iPad was sure to arrive in Indian markets and finally the wait is over, Apple launches iPad in India. So for all the technology fanatics iPad Launch surely would’ve brought a huge smile on their face.

Till now the iPad fanatics were dependent on grey market or have to call abroad to get their iPad. But now that Apple launches iPad in India, the iPad fanatics have a lot to cheer about. Now immediately after the iPad Launch the most asked question was the price at which Apple launches iPad in India, so here we are with all the information related to iPad Launch in India. Apple’s iPad having Wi-Fi and an internal memory of 16 GB will be priced at Rs. 27,900, while the iPad having Wi-Fi plus 3G plus 64GB will be priced at Rs. 44,900; courtesy Apple’s website.

Apple’s iPod will be available in all the six versions at the Apple stores across the country, and the aspiring customers will be able to make good use of iPod launch by buying iPod with 16 GB, 32 GB and 64GB of memory and in Wi-Fi + 3G and only Wi-Fi versions.

Speaking at the launch Gartner Principle Analyst Mr. Vishal Tripathi said, “The iPad will be available as more than five tablets in India and many of others will be entering the market in coming year but considering anticipation and eagerness for iPad Launch we can say that iPad still is one of the most sought after tablet in Indian electronic market, as apple has a global following.”.

Speaking on the price at which Apple launches iPad in India, Mr. Vishal Tripathi said, “iPad Launch could face a bit of competition from the prices of the competing tablets in Indian market. But it should be known that the Apple has never besieged mass market and budget consumers in the market, so the price of the iPad Launch surely won’t be an issue here.”

Soon after Apple launches iPad in India, BSNL, the state-run telecom operator have proclaimed a 3G plans for Apple’s iPad @Rs. 999 for unlimited monthly usage, secondly Rs. 599 for 6GB per month free, 1p/10 kb following the free usage and Rs. 99 for unlimited daily usage. Other telecom operators are also expected to introduce some other tariff plans especially for iPad after the iPad Launch.

Apple’s iPad was launched in US around a year ago, though it actually went on sale in April 2011. The iPad Launch in India will face a tough competition with the Olivepad and Samsung’s Galaxy Tab.

Handheld computers like PDAs are slowly getting transformed in to smartphones as they are much more versatile. However, there are companies like HP who are refusing to let go of the former glory and are still trying hard to bring back the good old PDA days. HP iPAQ 114 Classic is a similar attempt; it costs £170 and is a great all round performer.

HP iPAQ 114 Classic has those typical handheld computers look. There is traditional silver and grey finish which looks aesthetically pleasing and the buttons too are responsive enough. The device has rubber coating for durability and there is also a handy joypad. In spite of the size, the weight of the device is just 115 grams which makes it very easy to carry.

HP iPAQ 114 Classic has a speedy 624MHz processor along with 31 MB free memory and storage space of 196 MB. All these specs say that the HP is a strong performer and it is quite true. I didn’t experience any sluggishness while opening multiple programs, viewing documents, watching videos or playing games.

Such handheld computers are known to have generous screen and the HP iPAQ 114 Classic lived up to the tradition. It has a 3.5 inch or 89mm transreflective screen and it can be viewed easily in outdoor conditions too. There is autosensor which adjusts the brightness automatically according to the light in the ambience. This is great for saving power and still getting a bright screen.

The handheld comes with a standard 3.5 mm headphones jack but I was disappointed to see that the manufacturer didn’t provide a compatible headset. HP iPAQ 114 Classic comes with Wi-Fi built in which lets you get connected through routers or Wi-Fi hotspots for browsing the Web.

I wish the resolution was a bit bigger, the text and icons on the screen would have been better. If you really yearn for better resolution, check out more expensive HP iPAQ 214.

There are no cellular services in such handheld computers or PDAs and so there is no basic camera above the display for video calling. The virtual keyboard on the device is a bit disappointing and I would recommend you to get a separate Bluetooth external keyboard if you are going to type for long periods. HP iPAQ 114 Classic is backed by a 1,200 mAH battery which can keep the device alive for days with moderate use.

ICE-UX70 is a voice recorder from Sony having a built in USB connection and a gig of storage space. This space lets you record from 12 to 290 hours of MP3 audio and it depends on the quality setting that you choose. The gadget runs on single AAA battery and there is also a built in USB connection which makes it easy to connect and also offload the content to a computer. The gadget works with both PC and MAC and you get to choose from three color options – red, pink and silver. Sony ICD-UX70 can also be used as a digital audio device if you want to listen to music. It costs $99 and there is also a two GB storage version called ICD-UX80 which costs $149.

Recording on the Sony ICD-UX70 is really easy and the content is recorded at high quality so there is nothing to complain about there. For best results, I would recommend you to put the device on the table while you record. File transfer too is easy thanks to the standard USB mass storage option. It is good to see that the manufacturer hasn’t put any proprietary software inside. You just pop in the player to the computer and there will be the folders containing the recorded files.

A really cool feature here is auto-record function which starts recording automatically when it detects any sound. You can hide the gadget in the desk drawer and catch all the enemies who have been making plans to kill you. There are 2 options for the microphone sensitivity; you can start the recording at tiny peep or less tiny peep. According to me, there wasn’t much difference between the two options but it all depends on what you are going to record.

If you are thinking about the audio quality on the Sony ICD-UX70, let me tell you that it is excellent. The speech is clear and loud with no distortion even at the highest sound level. Microphone too does a good job at adjusting the volume level according to the background noise and fluctuations in the ambience. Sony has done a really good job here.

To sum it up, I would say that the Sony ICD-UX70 is good device but some really cool options. The best part about the device is that you can use it as a music player to keep yourself entertained while you are traveling.

HDMI technology is getting really popular and it is now a must have connection for many. There are tons of HDMI gadgets in the market right now but the number of HDMI inputs on the large HDTVs and the receivers is quite limited. You have to spend more money if you want more inputs and this is where an HDMI switch is needed. Using HDMI switch, you can connect more compatible gadgets to the home theatre set up and you don’t have to pay a premium for AV receiver or HDTV. The switcher comes with an affordable price tag of just $50 and it has the most number of ports I have ever seen on switches to date.

Monoprice HDMI switch is built quite well. The exteriors is all metal and it can easily accidental drops from your AV rack which is bound to happen if you have a lot of cables hanging from the back. On the front panel, there are 5 LED lights which indicate the source that is connected and there is also a separate LED to show that the device is switched on. The front panel has just one button – input select for changing the inputs if the remote is missing. I was glad to see that the manufacturer put in a full sized remote and not the traditional annoying credit card style clicker that you get for such switchers. You get 5 button which let you select the HDMI input directly along with Forward and Backward buttons for sequentially flipping through the inputs.

Monoprice HDMI switch has more connectivity options that any of the switches that I have seen in the past. There are five inputs for HDMI and one output which lets you switch between the 5 devices that are connected. Discrete codes of remote for each of the input makes it really easy to program using a universal remote and these clickers are useful for integrating HDMI switch in to the home theater setup. For instance, for Logitech Harmony, you can just select ‘Watch TV’ and the respective inputs on the switcher, AV receiver and TV will be changed automatically without any need of remembering where each input is located.

The Monoprice HDMI switch is priced low but still the device did really well in my performance tests. I didn’t have any problem passing the 1080p/24 videos clips with DTS-HD Master Audio soundtracks in the bitstream format. Input switching was quite fast and irrespective of whether we were connected to receiver or not.

I am a bit biased when it comes to Bose products since they have excellent audio quality. The price may be a bit high but trust me, it is worth paying the extra buck. I got the Bose Wave Radio in my labs for review and before this, I reviewed the Bose centre of Excellence which had was quite good.

I would recommend keeping the Bose Wave Radio in your bedroom close to your bed as it is compact. I would have been better if the manufacturer gave a built in DAB. This is not a deal breaker either as a lot of people now use things like Revo internet audio which sounds equally great.

Bose gets a lot of bad publicity in the media and I don’t know why this company is at the receiving end of all this. Their products are really good and I don’t have anything to complain about them except for the high price. But again, you cannot have stellar quality at entry level price. Bose systems are never meant for people with shallow pockets and the same holds true for Bose Wave Radio.

After testing the device, I realized that the system has low bass levels but the sound quality is always crisp irrespective of the genre you are playing. The Bose Wave Radio doesn’t have any controls on the system which might bother you but I liked it since the lack of any button clutter adds to the aesthetic appeal of the product. I bet you will love the simplicity and the color of this product. It will go well with any bedroom themes.

Here are the complete specifications of the product

Depth – 8.6 inches

Height 4.2 inches

Width – 14.5 inches
