Nintendo 3DS Review – Great gaming experience
Game Consoles — March 1, 2011 at 12:05 am | Comment NowNintendo 3DS is lightweight, attractive and affordable too. It is a marvel and I was delighted to see that this device is not just a hardware update from the previous version. This device is backwards compatible with the previous DS games but I won’t recommend buy Nintendo 3DS for that since it is a new consoles are really sparkles with ageless magic which wasn’t seen on previous Nintendo models.
The first thing that you’d see on the Nintendo 3DS is the three and half inch screen. It looks really magnificent and I wouldn’t ask for a bigger display as it would have ruined the geometry of the console. I saw special Metal Gear Snake Eater demo and were really impressed by what it had to offer. On the right side, the Nintendo 3DS has a slider for adjusting the perspective depth. I started in Metal Gear in the jungle area and I had to customize a bit for correcting [...]

Game Consoles — May 4, 2010 at 12:05 am | Comment NowMore than 5000 units had been sold of Sony PSP 3000 in 2005. To revise its success, Sony had launched the PSP 2000 in 2007 with few tweaks, slim profile, and ability to output to TV directly. Now, the company has come back with Sony PSP 3000 with inbuilt microphone, Skype, and better video support including HDMI capability. Its improved screen offer better color reproduction, reduce glare and diminishes the ghosting. The PSP 3000 is available in numerous configurations discussed below. However, the Sony game console still has some drawbacks. The display improvements resulted in visible artifacts on the screen. The screen shows visible scanlines and jaggies while playing high-motion gaming and video sequences. In addition, it is also not glare-free and captures fingerprints even on gentle touch. The PSP 3000 does not have any inbuilt memory and the UMD game loading time is more than that [...]

Game Consoles — March 18, 2010 at 12:55 am | 6 CommentsMicrosoft Xbox 360 was the first next-generation game console launched in 2006. The company had tried to capture back the market from Sony PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii. In September 2009, Microsoft has replaced Xbox 360 Elite with Microsoft Xbox Pro 60GB console, which we had reviewed earlier. Now, let us through a light on the Elite. You purchase the Xbox 360 Elite from Xbox website or any nearby store. It costs $300 and offers 120GB hard drive with HDMI connector.
Does Elite worth its $80 more cost than original Xbox 360? The answer is “No” for all original Xbox 360 users because they are getting the 120GB hard drive as an accessory for $180 only. Moreover, the Elite do not include Wi-Fi adapter as well as HD DVD drive inside the box and you have to purchase both of them additionally. Obviously, the Elite is a simple version of previous Xbox 360 model and does not have any [...]

Nintendo Wii – ultra-affordable luxury gaming experience
Game Consoles — March 5, 2010 at 12:05 am | 28 CommentsYou will also agree that the new – Nintendo Wii is still the best selling gaming consoles for current generation. The company also knows that it has adventured off the crushed runway by launching its flagship model. Now, Sony PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 are available at almost the same prices. Seeing that, the Nintendo has announced to drop off the cost up to $199.99, which is same for basic Microsoft Xbox 360 Arcade.
There are some drawbacks in graphics area on this new game console, whereas both Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 accent their most liked graphics. However, it is normal as the Wii console is not a graphic power house. When Microsoft and Sony continue to use brand names and game pads containing directional pad, control stick and conventional buttons like their predecessors. On the contrary side, the Nintendo has oddly named its new player as Wii replacing previous [...]
Microsoft Xbox 360 -60GB, HDMI- One Of The Greatest Gaming Consoles
Game Consoles — January 1, 2010 at 12:05 am | 5 CommentsWe always thought that Xbox 360 was made by Microsoft because it looked at Sony’s play station consoles as substitutes for computers and not to mention the great gaming experience. But then Microsoft has worked really hard and since then it hasn’t looked back. It first came in on November 2005 as the first next-gen console and had about an year before the nearest competitor would launch their products. So they have quite a lot of time to make an impression on the market.
This console has quite a lot of features updated but we can never get enough and some of our grievances still remain unanswered. This version now lets you install games on the hard disk of the console directly which will stop the noise from the drive. This new version of Xbox 360 has a 60 GB hard drive, the earlier model had just a 20 GB hard disk and if you are willing to shell out $100 more, then you can get [...]
Sony PSP Go – Smaller Sleeker Better
Game Consoles — December 11, 2009 at 3:30 am | 7 CommentsWhenever a new version of a device is announced we automatically assume that it is going to be better than the previous one. If one finds the device to be indeed better than the previous one, the manufacturer is heaped praise upon. But if the products doesn’t deliver much then you probably vent your anger on the product maker. You probably measure the performance of the previous version and the newer one. The newer one has to deliver better and also has to be cheap. Sometimes the manufacture thinks it is been a while since they have launched a product so they go make one with some minor changes.
We did find the Sony PSP Go better on features as compared to the previous iterations. The most rocking feature was the small size and the slide layout. The buttons on the face are dumped and you have to slide the console out to access the buttons in the second half. The PSP GO is now as big [...]
