Review Of Archos 5 Internet Tablet With Android 32GB
MP3 Players — November 11, 2009 at 1:30 am | 1 CommentThe Archos 5 Internet tablet with Android is supposed to be a competitor to the iPod touch and Zune HD. But if seen quality wise, the manufacturers seem to have rushed in to making this product and there is plenty of room for improvement on this product. A lot seems to be desired in various departments on the Archos 5 Internet tablet.
The first thing that you notice about this gadget is the huge screen which stares at you. If you look at the screen and think this is a great video player then you won’t be disappointed. Archos 5 Internet tablet churns out video at resolutions at 720p and watching videos on such a big screen is pleasure. There is support almost all the formats like AVI, WMV, MPEG4, h.264, MKV, and Flash video content, many of which support resolutions up to HD-quality 720p.
FM transmitter is built in but there are quite a few problems with the reception. It is quite [...]

The whiz kid speaks: Creative has launched the Zen Mx a follow up to the much acclaimed Zen and supposedly, an answer to Apples revamped Nano. But there a few glaring faults in the MX, that threaten it from becoming a successful MP3. Let’s find out.
Starting with the design, Creative have barely deviated with the design on the MX , making it a carbon copy of the older Zen. It still sports the excellent, glossy black, 2.5 inch, TFT LCD screen with a very good resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. Much of the navigational buttons remain unchanged. The only difference so far, is that, the hold key has been replaced [...]

MP3 Players — September 27, 2009 at 11:30 am | Comment NowApple has the stormed the markets once again, with the launch of the new Nano and the 3rd generation ipod touch. Leaving the Nano aside, the all new ipod touch is much more refined that its predecessors, it carries an increased storage capacity, better graphic capabilities and a much faster processor too. The design of the 64 Gb is sleek and thin and the back looks like it’s coated with molten silver bearing Apple’s iconic logo. The black and beautiful touchscreen adorns the front end. The styling is the same as the iphone. The itouch measures 61.8 x 8.5 x 110 and weighs in at 115 grams. Although, most of the features remain same, we’ll give you a flashback of the itouch’s functions. the multi-touch 3.5 inch touch screen was the definite headliner. Built out of glass, the touchscreen is very tough and durable. the screen displayed a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. It was very easy [...]
Review Of The Apple iPod Nano – 5th gen
MP3 Players — September 23, 2009 at 7:30 pm | 3 CommentsApple has installed a camera that has the shooting capable of 640 x 360 pixels and is equipped with 15 silly special effects that add ‘zazz’ to your life. Now, the camera is located at the lower left on the back panel, which means that there are very few instances when your hand will not be touching the lens of the camera or the microphone. After many trials you will realize the only way to not touch the camera is by holding to delicately by its sides. It doesn’t matter if you shooting in portrait mode or landscape mode, you still have to catch it in that fashion. Apple has yet to figure out a way right from the most basic part of the camera, the location. They could not stick it to the top left or right, because the screen is there and they cannot but it in the center because [...]
Reviw Of The Microsoft Zune HD MP3 Player
MP3 Players — September 21, 2009 at 2:45 pm | Comment NowThe zune is not the ultimate media package but as far as music and video playback is concerned it works in the finest manner. The main menu consists of options such as music, videos, pictures, radio, Marketplace and Internet. When there is enough content , then other features like the podcasts, audio books, and applications are given main page status. The zune features internet connectivity through the onboard Wi- fi connection and allows you to make use of the marketplace function where you can integrate you music and video playlists by adding the latest media and latest updates to your cart. You can download unlimited quantities of music for a monthly rental of $15. and much like the itunes store, the downloads are sold individually. Another function designed with the music aficionados is the quick play function. As I have previously mentioned it provides instant access to your music [...]
Review Of The Apple iPod Classic
MP3 Players — September 14, 2009 at 6:10 pm | 3 CommentsThe 3rd generation ipod fits a massive 160GB hard disk. The screen is molded out of plastic, making it the only iPod that hasn't used the scratch-resistant glass screen yet. It also is the only one to use the split screen menu, with the menu function on the left and an image matching to the selection to the right.
Like the previous ipods, the Classic also features the Genius playlist where it creates an instant 25-song playlists based on the musical characteristics of a single song. The results are fun, for most of the time, provided that you have a large playlist (which you should be having, if you’re buying a 160GB ipod).
The iPod Classic supports H.264 or MPEG-4 video in MOV, MP4, or M4V file formats, with a maximum resolution of 640x480 at as much as 30 [...]
Review Of The SanDisk Sansa Clip+ 2GB MP3 Player
MP3 Players — September 5, 2009 at 8:15 am | 1 CommentThis Sandisk features the same UI like its previous one but the feature list is a lot more impressive than its predecessor. Some major omissions include wireless capability and support for photo and video, but for a device this size and for such a budget-friendly price, these features are not only unnecessary, but would ruin the overall functionality. What you do get is playback of a wide array of audio formats, including MP3, secure WMA (subscription music), WAV, FLAC, OGG, and Audible.
It also features a built-in mic for voice recording and an FM tuner with an autoscan mode and 40 preset slots. The big news with the Clip+ is the addition of a MicroSD card slot, which is capable of accepting SDHC cards, currently available at up to 16GB. A 16GB card comes in around $40, which means you could get yourself a 24GB flash player for around $110. That's [...]

Gadgets, MP3 Players — August 24, 2009 at 5:25 am | Comment NowAnyway, moving on to the display unit, the S9 is equipped with a 3.3inch AMOLED screen which is one of its best assets. The powerful codecs optimizes its 480 x 272 resolution for bringing life- like images. It’s a very pretty site & brings out the kid inside you that makes you go ‘WOW!!!’. With its 16million vibrant colours, seeing definitely believes. Videos are vivid and pictures are sharp and bright.
Next up, we have the user interface, which is decent. The bold icons just grab your attention. Navigation is not an issue & can customization will keep most users busy.
However there was a lag when flipping the screen to another angle. It also has an equalizer on the now playing screen which is a good thing.
The Audio/Video performance of the S9 is outstanding. The [...]
