Exuberating News For All The itunes Fanatics World Over
News — on August 25, 2009 at 9:30 am | Comment NowThe wait for the first glimpse into the world of the next generation itunes has finally come to an end. Screenshots of the next generation of iTunes have reportedly surfaced, and at least from the looks of it, the wait was worthwhile. Apart from the blu ray disc and the social media integration news which has been making the rounds, the latest dope is that it also supports facebook.

The new shots show a setting whereby you’re Facebook account gets linked into Apple’s media player, with the chosen playlist and it is then shown on your facebook page. It is being presumed that this collaborative playlist could then be viewed in itunes.
Also shown in the leaked images is third party support device as in the image Samsung YH-J70 HDD MP3 player has been shown connected to iTunes. This might also get the owners of the palm pre wondering if apple is going to disable support for Palm Pre Media Sync, especially after the release of the webOS 1.1.0 update by Palm.
Though it is quite unlikely that apple would want to open up its own media player added along with the non apple support, we could always trust jobs to come up with an unusual surprise once in a blue moon. Also the multi device support is likely to attract more users who would love to use the itunes as their primary media player.
