For all the world of warcraft fans worldwide, Blizzard’s hit it bang on once again. It has signed a deal with Future publications to bring out a quarterly insight into the world of azeroth in the form of a magazine.

Wow, launched in 2004 has revolutionized gaming and MMO’s with more than 11.5 million subscribers shelling out the monthly fee just to participate in the killer fantasy adventure. The amazingly awesome enthusiasm level amongst the inhabitants of the world has brought about the launch of this magazine.

Paul Sams, Chief Operating Officer of Blizzard Entertainment, said: “Some of the most brilliant gaming magazines have been published by future, and we’re pleased to be working closely with them to make World of Warcraft: The Magazine an outstanding product. Together, we are looking forward to offering World of Warcraft players a great mix of entertaining and insightful content in each issue.”

Well the good news just keeps adding in. If the launch of the magazine was not good enough, the cherry on top of the cake is that the magazine is going to multi lingual. Launching simultaneously in English, French, German, and Spanish editions, the new magazine will be available via subscription only, sold through World of Warcraft Account Management or direct from www.worldofwarcraftthemagazine.com (which launches at 9.00PST/17.00GMT on August 21).

As far as the price of the magazine burning a hole in the pocket is concerned, rest assured; it is quite reasonable and it’s just worth the price that is being paid for it. Priced at $39.95 in the US and €34.95 or £29.95 in Europe for 1 year subscription and $69.95 in the US, €61.25 or £52.50 for a two year subscription.

Julian Rignall, Editorial Director of World of Warcraft: The Magazine, added: “We’re bringing together an international team of player-writer experts to create in-depth articles about World of Warcraft’s design, art, lore and community, as well as all aspects of its game play.”
