Flip Video MinoHD Second Generation is a 720p high-definition camcorder. It features 2x digital zoom, widescreen video capture, automatic white balance and auto-exposure. It has 1/4.5” CMOS optical sensor and 8GB internal memory.
The MinoHD has inbuilt 2-inch transflective display as well as inbuilt flash and mono microphone. The camcorder captures H.264 video format of 1280×720 pixels resolution. Focus free lens has a 35mm focal length and F/2.4 aperture. Minimum focus range is 31.5 inch.
The additional features are In-camera movie editing, USB 2.0 compatibility, YouTube capture mode, Progressive scanning, Inbuilt speaker, Backlit buttons, Date/time stamp, Auto-power save, and USB charging.
Supported operating systems are Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista and Apple Mac OS X 10.4 or later. Flip Video MinoHD has two connectors: 1×USB and 1×HDMI output.

2 inches antiglare LCD display of Flip Video MinoHD Second Generation has 960×240 pixels resolution. The display is visible clearly even in direct sunlight. The overall video quality of Flip Video MinoHD Second Generation was the best. It delivered sharp videos with vibrant and accurate colors. The recorded video played back very fine on the HDTV and computer screen. We appreciate the Flip Video to provide the best quality camcorder in tiny body. Both low and bright videos looked fantastic. It even maintained its good quality in a dim lit elevator. The sound recording was also good while testing.
It is important to mention here that you have to keep the MinoHD steady for good quality. Flip Video MinoHD Second Generation camcorder has few auto-focus problems, especially for close focus. We will prefer the manufacturer to include the macro mode like that on Kodak Zi8.
FlipShare software starts automatically on connecting the new MinoHD with Mac or Windows computer. There are direct options to publish the videos on MySpace, AOL and YouTube.
The MinoHD camcorder has non-removable lithium ion battery that has life of 2 hours of continuous video recording.

No one can ever beat Apple but as compared it is really good.
Everyday some or other company launches its mp4 player or video player and stuff. God knows how much it will be working.
It is a good alternative for the people who cannot afford to buy Apple as it is costly.
