The all in one PCs of Hewlett Packard and some towers will be equipped with the all-new first Ivy Bridge chips. HP has joined Ivy Bridge festivities with quad-core all in ones and has bulked up its desktop PC line with 3 models, motivated by 3rd generation quad core Ivy Bridge processor of Intel. Two of the desktop PCs, the Omni 27qd and Omni 200qd are conventional ones and don’t feature touchscreen display. The TouchSmart 520xt features a touchscreen. Hewlett Packard also revealed tower systems, the Pavilion HPE h9t Phoenix and Pavilion HPE h8t. Ivy Bridge is a codename for the 22 nm die shrink of Intel of Sandy Bridge microarchitecture based on tri-gate transistors. Intel, an American multinational semiconductor chip manufacturing company is likely to introduce its greatest and latest processor, Ivy Bridge in last week of April. This will be followed by a crush of new product introductions, desktops and laptops alike. The introduction is expected on 23rd April or soon thereafter. Ivy Bridge will be the largest statement by the chip maker to date on the significance of graphics.
