PS3 Slim – Highly Rotund Features Unlike The Name
News — on August 25, 2009 at 3:30 am | 1 CommentThe features being offered by the recently announced PS3 by Sony aren’t that slim after all. Infact, it’s quite the opposite. For the all the audiophile gamers the latest news doing the rounds is that the new PS3 has improved audio features.
The brand new PS3 comes along with an increased 120 GB hard drive capacity, along with other features like high tech support for the Bravialink . The latest news out of Japan indicates that the PS3 will also provide support for bit streaming of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio direct to your receiver.
The PS3 outflanks the ‘phat’ in more than one ways. Bit streaming of high def codec’s was a problem because the HDMI chip had to decode it internally and then send the data to the receiver via LPCM.
If you have a high end dandy surround sound system, you would surely notice the improvement in the sound quality of the PS3 slim.
Also Sony has been careful enough not to highlight the improvements in the sound quality just to avoid the total running down of the remaining stocks of the ‘phat’.

The PS3 Slim is going to get stronger as the next coming months come they are known for there good products ps2 one of the best gaming platforms ever ive had one since launch and had purchased one for my son with free online and hd blueray player and wifi all in the box its the best being i had one since launch i had the chance to see it get better as time passed ive had no problems with my ps3s not like my (360 on my 6th one and tired off it always dieing on me they said they found the problem but its still there) so if your looking for something that is good for the whole family from a hd blueray player to a gaming console its the choice for you at 299 and not to mention that the ps3 will have motion controllers better than the wii in the spring so you can upgrade from your ps2 or wii ps3 is the best value period
