The Good you will Love (Thumbs up):
This new HP 30-inch monitor comes with Multiple Dual-DVI inputs, High resolution, with many adjustments.
The Bad you can Ignore (Thumbs down):
Heavy price label, less warranty and less video adjustments.
The combined Facts(Inside the Trunk):
Heavy and expensive monitor with a high resolution and less adjustment features.
The Whiz Kid Speaks:
this is a monitor waiting for a gamer with High end Graphics card to be plugged and boom, people working on CAD/CAM, comparing excel files will find themselves complete with a resolution of 2,560×1,600, costs around $1,067 -$1,349. This huge 30-inch screen has got many adjustments however in this price HP could have included a HDMI connection with more video adjustment features. As this is a 30 inch monitor which could easy have served the purpose of HDTV on the same time. This monitor also lacks OSD(On Screen Display). Personally tested with Unreal tournament, Age of Empires and flight simulator and i was amazed as everything was large and without any ghost effect and input lagging.
Razzle Dazzle:
With a dark gray chassis, Matte finishes and smooth rounded corners it looks amazing. this is a very good creation as they have managed to put 1000:1 contrast ratio, 3000:1 dynamic contrast ratio with 102% color gamut and an extra-bright screen together. this does not have very precise control when it comes to color, contrast in addition to brightness. this screen also comes with a USB hub of total 4 USB connections with a standard 2.0 and 3 Dual-DVI input port that mean you can have 3 computers connected to this 1 monitor simultaneously, however HP is supplying only two cables with this.

Inside Dope:
Size and weight is not very favorable to let it dislocate instantly, it weighs around 30 pounds(approx 14 kg), foot-stand is about 17.5 inches wide and 9 inches deep which allows the screen to swivel 70 degrees right and left and 25 degrees for tilting backwards. Approximately 1 inch bezel and 1.8 inch deep makes full monitor 3.05 inches deep. width of the panel is about 27.3 inches, however this monitor is nicely packed and screwed as it didn’t wobble while we tried knocking it behind. native resolution suggested is 2560×1600 at 60 Hz and an aspect ratio of 16:10 which is the most attractive point in this monitor equipped with Anti-glare, Anti-static, Plug and Play and language selection. in performance this monitor scores between Dell 3007WFP and Dell 3008WFP if we compare Brightness Scores(Units considered is cd/m2), however if we compare on contrast ten it does not score better than any of them. HP has improved power consumption in this as estimated this would cost $40.55 per year.
Nitty-Gritty:
This monitor is amazing when it comes to play game, compare Excels or watch movies, however if i plan to buy a Monitor with the budget of $1,067-$1,349 i would rather go for a monitor with HDMI port and many other good features like more adjustments as this only has adjustments for brigthness, this monitor would definitely fulfill many needs but at the same time will make your wallet lighter, and as warranty is also less(just 1 year) this might be because 30 inch monitors are known to have issues only after 9 to 10 months.
