Research In Motion (RIM) is prepping the slimmed down product lineup for 2012, as it puts the resources behind next-gen Blackberrys coming in the 2nd half. RIM is planning to reveal 2 BlackBerry Curves in the next couple of months and is also planning to introduce the slightly updated PlayBook Tablet. The BlackBerry 10 handset code named London will be introduced in the month of September this year and is also working on BlackBery 10 smartphone, which will fall under Bold line of flagship cellphones. Both two Curve models coming out could very well be positioned for rising markets, where there is still growing demand for reasonably priced BlackBerry devices.

The RIM is planning to introduce the PlayBook OS 2.0 software, which will feature faster, 1.5GHz processor, near-field communication capabilities and faster HSPA+ cellular connection.
