Well the rumours have finally turned out to be true. What was just being passed off as a mere publicity gimmick is actually turning into reality. Rockstar has finally announced the amalgamation of the GTA with the iPhone. This also sees the release of Timbaland-fronted beats generating title Beateratorwith the iPhone.

China town wars has been labeled as the perfect match for the iPhone by Rockstar founder Sam Houser.

The release is expected to take place somewhere during the fall season. The collaboration with the iPhone is one of the most ambitious steps taken by Rockstar in the direction of expanding its circle. Also the beaterator which has timbaland fronting it would be released somewhere along the same date. It’s basically the simple pick up and play nature of the beatretor which blends in really well with apple platforms.

“We are happy to deliver an application that allows for such unprecedented sharing and ease-of-use.” Added mr. Sam Houser.

Though the UK guardian slammed the GTA as being pornoviolent it doesn’t seem to affect the fans of the game that are desperately waiting for its release with the iPhone.

Chinatown Wars will also be soon making its appearance in the PSP league somewhere around in October.
