Software — June 9, 2011 at 12:46 am | Comment NowApple’s this year Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) earlier this week marked the debut of Apple iOS 5, which was a premeditated revision to their mobile OS. Altho, officially the OS will be entering the market this autumn (Apple isn’t telling the exact date) the Apple iOS 5 foretells to bring much anticipated changes to the existing OS, which has been used on the iPad, iPod touch and iPhone.
At the WWDC Apple told the attendants that the all new Apple iOS 5 will bring in around 200 new characteristics, but only 10 of them were demonstrated during the 2 hour keynote on Monday, but considering the fact that the two-hour long Keynote was more focused on OS X 10.7 "Lion" and iCloud.
So we thought that [...]
Apple’s iWork Now Available On iPhone & iPod Touch
News — June 1, 2011 at 12:05 am | Comment NowApple’s iWork finally has made its debut on iPhone and iPod Touch. It should be noted it entered the iPhone and iPod Touch, after one complete year of its debut on Apple’s iPad. The iWork is Apple’s set of productivity applications and will come handy to iPhone and iPod touch.
Apple’s iWork Apps includes Keynote, Numbers and Pages particularly were available on the device’s debut last year. The apps here retail for $9.99 each, and offer the facility to create documents, presentations and spreadsheets using multi-touch interface of Apple. The iWork Apps basically were only for the iPad, though and the iPod and iPhone users were a bit unlucky on this department. But we think it makes complete sense, as the advanced processing didn’t appear an ideal task for the phone, at least not a year ago.
Though in current times,

MP3 Players — September 27, 2009 at 11:30 am | Comment NowApple has the stormed the markets once again, with the launch of the new Nano and the 3rd generation ipod touch. Leaving the Nano aside, the all new ipod touch is much more refined that its predecessors, it carries an increased storage capacity, better graphic capabilities and a much faster processor too. The design of the 64 Gb is sleek and thin and the back looks like it’s coated with molten silver bearing Apple’s iconic logo. The black and beautiful touchscreen adorns the front end. The styling is the same as the iphone. The itouch measures 61.8 x 8.5 x 110 and weighs in at 115 grams. Although, most of the features remain same, we’ll give you a flashback of the itouch’s functions. the multi-touch 3.5 inch touch screen was the definite headliner. Built out of glass, the touchscreen is very tough and durable. the screen displayed a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. It was very easy [...]
Sony Walkmans Overpower The iPod In Japanese Market
News — September 4, 2009 at 5:05 am | 2 CommentsAccording to Japanese research company BCN, the walkman has outsold the dominating iPod for the first time in four years. Sony tasted victory pure through the sales volume and number of music players.
Sony recorded sales figures of 43 percent towards the end of August 30, beating apple by a whisker, who recorded 42.1 percent. The survey did not include the sales of the iPhone because of the obvious reasons of it serving as a cell-phone.
Sony grabbed six of the top 10 sales spots with the different models of its Walkman. While, Apple took home the remaining three slots with its 16GB iPod Nano, iPod Classic, and iPod Shuffle. The 8GB iPod Nano also topped the sales charts with a 21.7 percent of the market share, while Sony's mini NW-E042 Walkman came in a distant second with just [...]
Macbook Pro Unsatisfactory Experience
Laptops — April 22, 2009 at 11:00 am | Comment NowEven during the very slow winter months of the year at my company, I still use my MacBook Pro an endless amount of hours each and every day throughout the week. If my friends and colleagues are not able to find me busy at work in my office or lounging leisurely on the couch in my home as I’m busy working my fingers to the bone, then they know they can generally find me sitting on a bench at one of the local parks in my neighborhood.
The only bad thing about going to the park however is the fact that the 2.53 ghz battery that is used in the laptop does not last nearly as long as it should. I have tried other batteries as well and I’m still lucky if I am able to get a mere hour and a half of usage. This fact certainly makes me wonder if the problem does not lie somewhere else other than in the battery itself. What makes it even more frustrating is how [...]
Apple’s Variable Pricing Scheme
Laptops — April 20, 2009 at 12:16 am | Comment NowI do not know about any other person’s thoughts, but I think it was only a matter of time before iTunes was going to have to contemplate the idea of taking advantage of just how much they could benefit from offering variable price rates for the music that they provide. For a very long time there have been tremendous amounts of people all around the world who have been consistently enjoying the fact that they can listen to their individual taste in music and take advantage of only having to pay a minimum set price in order to do so.
With the crunch of the economy reaching just about every type of business, there have even been several record label companies that have taken a hit in the amount of revenue that they normally receive through CD sales. What seems to have been a huge benefit for everyone all the way around is the new digital music download prices that have [...]
