Much like the Greenbird  and the Iron Duck, both record holders for the land speed record holders for wind powered vehicles, a new designer has also involved himself in the rat-race. But with a difference. What he is attempting to do, is simply break the land speed record while arriving in style and comfort. The Blue Dynamics land yacht, as is has been christened, is the brainchild of  industrial designer Stefan Radev. The concept wind-powered pleasure vehicle that steers with the help of a huge sail in the rear and entry into the cockpit is through the elevated wind screen, while the rigid sail adjusts according to wind direction either automatically or through the on-board sail control unit. The name Blue Dynamics is in context with BMW's "efficient dynamics," greener-emissions program, which inspired the designer. BMW, however, are not involved with the project.
