difficult to argue, whether technology has simplified our lives or complicated it. On one hand it is saving us so much time and effort, not to mention the wow experience it’s giving us. And on the other hand, it has created so many choices that it becomes very confusing for us to reach a decision about a gadget that best suits our needs, budget and tastes. With so many products being launched in the same category, a very thin line differentiates them from each other. This may not be obvious to common people like you and me, which, sometimes, may force us to make uninformed decisions – decisions that we may regret in future. It takes a lot of experience, expertise and love for technology to make complete sense out of these gadgets. Canon's new flagship HD camcorder for 2009 is HF S100 along with its sister model HFS10. This camcorder is known to represent the upgraded version of the 2008- camcorder of the year – the Cannon HF11. Cannon has packed quite few interesting features in designing this upgrade, including a sizable 8.59-megapixel sensor, plenty of new controls, and a much larger lens than the previous models. With Panasonic (HDC-TM300), and Sony (HDR-XR520V), making significant strides in performance this year it has become difficult to choose from the top contenders. The two new models from Cannon records 1,920x1,080 60i video and feature a larger, faster f1.8 10x HD lens with a relatively large high resolution /2.6-inch 8-megapixel CMOS sensor, along with higher-end capabilities, such as SMPTE color bars and the ability to manually boost gain up to 18dB, fixed 70 and 100 IRE zebra stripes, and a user-assignable  [...]

Looking at the high competition levels that exist in the market Sony has moved into manufacturing budgetal camcorders which cost less than $600.  The camcorders are generally divided into two categories: one which is compact but less powerful and the other which is larger but a well equipped version. With its 2.3×2.4×4.5-inches measurement and 11.7 ounces weight (including Memory Stick Duo and battery), the CX100 is quite exceptionally compact especially in its class. The reduction has not only been done in its size, but in price as well and it comfortably fits in your purse or your jacket pocket. It's very ergonomic, being curved on the right  [...]
