HTC Droid Eris Cell Phone Review

Cell Phones — November 18, 2009 at 1:30 am | 3 Comments
We reviewed two HTC phones before this the HTC Hero and HTC Tilt2. Now we’ve got our hands dirty on this one, let’s see if this is better than the other HTC products that we have tested. The phone has a 3.2 inch TFT LCD display, which is good for a smart phone. The resolution is 320X480, large enough and gives you plenty of room to work. We had no complaints with the display and it went well with the tone and the color of the phone. The earlier models of this phone had three pages for menu, HTC Droid Eris has seven pages. You can store more shortcuts on the phone and all you have to do is browse through the pages to access them. Seven is a bit too much though, we would have been happy with four or five but then it all comes down to personal choices, you can increase or decrease them according to your needs. The menus provide you short cut to your most frequently used applications,  [...]

HTC tilt2 has a 3.6 big inch touch screen which has a QWERTY keyboard underneath it. The keyboard spacing was quite good, the buttons are large enough and you avoid any mishits. The blue backlighting on the keyboard is probably the best feature of the phone and goes well with the screen. The product comes shipped with windows 6.5 and includes softwares like windows market place and windows explorer. The phone also comes with a Microsoft office mobile suite which makes it possible for businessmen to edit word, excel documents while on the move. Support for email, POP3 and Imap accounts is included; you can download emails directly on to your phone and access it. The address book doesn’t have any entry limits but the storage limit on the memory of the phone will hold you back from entering more  [...]

Review of HTC Imagio Cell Phone – Verizon Wireless

Everything about the Imagio seems to be for one’s advantage, be it multimedia or business applications. The information management system and productivity tools are too good. The Direct Push Technology allows you to coordinate your email, calendar and other tasks through the exchange Server. Mobile E Mail for POP3 and IMAP are available. Windows Marketplace for Mobile, My Phone backup utility, and Mobile Browser are some of the new utilities that the OS brings in. The Imagio is a dual mode smartphone that supports both CDMA and GSM networks which is a welcome feature for world class travelers. However, you cannot swap it with a T-Mobile or AT &T SIM card. Voice and data communication facilities are available world-wide. However, you’ve got to be wary of the roaming charges because in some international areas the roaming charges can be very high. Advanced Bluetooth features are  [...]
