The 3rd generation ipod fits a massive 160GB hard disk. The screen is molded out of plastic, making it the only iPod that hasn't used the scratch-resistant glass screen yet. It also is the only one to use the split screen menu, with  the menu function on the left and an image matching to the selection to the right. Like the previous ipods, the Classic also features the Genius playlist where it creates an instant 25-song playlists based on the musical characteristics of a single song. The results are fun, for most of the time, provided that you have a large playlist (which you should be having, if you’re buying a  160GB ipod). Steve On The Job With iTunes 9

Steve Jobs the C.E.O of Apple has dropped a bomb of goodies that includes the iTunes 9, an upgraded iPod Nano, and the OS 3.1. In a statement by Jobs, the latest version of iTunes features an all improved User Interface, along with an automated DJ known as "Genius Mixes" which plays tracks from the user's music library. He also revealed that the iTunes 9 would now support  updates from Facebook and Twitter, while allowing users to copy movies , songs, videos and TV shows right up to 5 authorized computers. The redesigned iTunes will also feature classic LP memorabilia, including music, essays, liner notes and photography. Next, Phillip Schiller went on the podium and lauded the iPod Touch's fame and recognition . According to Schiller, 20 million iPod touch units have been sold by Club Cupertino itself.
