The sub-menus drop down into more detailed lists which make it easier, not that the 3010 has much to offer. The FE 3010 continues to use the xD cards like in its older models, so the memory storage can reach a maximum of only 2GB. Olympus, however, have provided a tiny adaptor to use the micro SD cards as well. One of the features of the 3010 is, unless you save your settings it switches into its default mode which is the program-auto. This mode gives you the option of controlling the exposure compensation, the ISO, white balance, flash as well as the timer. The FE3010 is also perfect for the point-and- shoot job because it can adjust its white balance and exposure perfectly.

Olympus was the first company to offer two cameras in the entry brackets the little E-410 and its image-stabilized big brother, the E-510 which was later upgraded to the 420 and 520 respectively. Olympus has now introduced a newer model E-620 with 12.3 mega pixel. This is one of the world's smallest and lightest DSLRs with built-in Image Stabilisation.
There are three configurations of E-620 body only, a kit with the 14-42mm f3.5-5.6lens and a two lens kit with that plus the 40-150mm f4-5.6 lens.
This model weighs 1 pound, 3 ounces, with dimensions of 5.1 inches wide by 3.7 inches high by 2.4 inches deep it is lighter and more compact then the D5000 and Sony Alpha DSLR-A380.
