Review Of Samsung Flight SGH-A797 Cell Phone
Cell Phones — November 18, 2009 at 7:30 pmThe touch screen is 2.8 inches big and the resolution that you get is 240X320 pixels which is good for a screen like this. Remember that this is not a smart phone, even though it has a full QWERTY keyboard and a touch screen. You can adjust the brightness, backlight time and font type. The touch interface is responsive and registers touches quite well whether it is for selecting an icon or surfing through a list.
There is no virtual keyboard on the phone all you get is the physical QWERTY keyboard.
Below the screen are three physical buttons the call, call end, back buttons. The buttons are quite big and go well with the tone of the phone.
The camera of the phone is a 2.0 mega pixel. We don’t know why manufacturers are still making phones with 2 mega pixel cameras. Those days are gone; phones now have three or five mega pixel camera. Though, we agree that a five mega pixel camera [...]
Samsung Blue Earth Cell Phone Review
Cell Phones — November 14, 2009 at 1:05 amAn eco-friendly phone? Now, isn’t that a bit too much? No, according to Samsung who say they have made the phone out of recycled materials, especially plastic water bottles (and hence the name Blue Earth)
The first thing to write about this phone would be the solar panels. The solar panels charge the phone constantly. Apart from the sun, the phone can also charge it self under a strong source of light like a desk lamp. However, you cannot rely completely on the solar charging because if the phone battery is finished then you’ll be unable to charge the phone by solar energy. The phone comes bundled with a standard charger.
Talking of being eco-friendly, Samsung claims that the phone is also free from harmful materials that damage the mother earth.
But Samsung’s obsession of being eco-friendly doesn’t end here. The cardboard box of the Samsung is made from recycled card board.

Review Of Samsung Moment Cell Phone – Sprint
Cell Phones — November 12, 2009 at 2:30 amThe first phone to join the Android revolution was the HTC. Samsung is the latest to board ship; the HTC was the first one. Now, OS is not the only thing that seems to have been borrowed from HTC, the looks also seems to be lifted. Yes, the Samsung Moment looks a lot like HTC smart phones.
“Moment” is the first smart phone with Android onboard from the Samsung stables. And this experience seems to have paid off. Samsung seem to have done a thorough market study before making these new set of phones. They have everything that a high end mobile phone user or a smart phone user desires.
This gadget some flaws though and the biggest one of them is the camera feature. Samsung Moment sports a 3.2 mega pixel camera on its back and it is way below par. Firstly phones of this genre now [...]

Review Of The Samsung SGH-T239 Cell Phone
Cell Phones — September 4, 2009 at 10:15 pmThe phone book capacity of the T239 is relatively small with just 300 contacts entry. Contacts can be paired up with a photo and a ringer id.
It comes equipped with a VGA camera and which can take pictures in almost four resolutions. Considering that it’s a VGA camera the image quality is quite average. Anyways I didn’t expect any kind of sharp images. The images display some amount of noise which is pretty much expected. It offers you with about 10 MB of storage for photos which is more or less not that great.
Coming to the call quality, it was pretty much decent with minimal static and interference. It was sort of clear and sounded pretty much natural. The volume of the calls was quite low though because of which I could hardly hear anything in crowded and noisy places. The caller to had more or less the same to say. Speakerphone calls were kind of average and the the performance [...]
Review Of The Samsung Mondi SWD-M100 Cell Phone
Cell Phones — September 3, 2009 at 8:00 amThe Samsung mondi is the most quickest and probably the most fastest windows mobile device I have come across, and surely all the credit goes to 800 MHz Samsung ARM11 processor. It has also tried hard to make the menu buttons more finger friendly by making it large enough for a comfortable space. It is also provided with two home screens one a ‘bubble’ layout which puts new messages in the front and the back and the other a ‘touchwiz’ interface which lets you drop internet based widgets on the screen.
It has a support for AAC, WMA, and MP3 files and most of the other desktop XVID videos. It has tiny in built speakers as well as aa 3.5 mm headphone jack plus a bluetoooth headset could come in handy too.
The mondi uses Wi- Fi or CLEAR’s Wi-Max network network which is available at the moment in Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Portland. [...]
Review Of The Samsung Gravity 2 SGH-T469 Cell Phone
Cell Phones — September 2, 2009 at 8:15 amTesting it on one of the most important feature i.e. the voice quality during the calls.. and hallelujah, I was impressed.. clear sound, no static… what else could I ask for?? On the callers end too, he was pretty much content with the voice quality though there a low hum in the background with a heavy echo effect.
The 3G speeds were splendid enough.I managed to load an entire HTML page like in like lesss than 15 secs. Now if that’s not speed what is??
But all the good things have to come to an end always... I wasnt that satisfied with the video streaming quality. It was sort of choppy and grainy. Also the audio quality from the speakers was just about alright. Nothing really amazing to talk about. Also the overall quality of the music was kind of harsh. I would recommend trying it out with a pair of headphones or earphones for better results.
The [...]
Review Of Samsung Solstice SGH-A887 Cell Phone
Cell Phones — August 27, 2009 at 8:00 amIntrinsic features offered by the solstice include a vibrate mode, text and multimedia messaging, a calendar, a calculator, a memo pad, a task list, a tip calculator, an alarm clock, a world clock, a timer, a stopwatch, a currency and unit converter, and a speakerphone. To add to the already long list, I also came across a few other features like speaker-independent voice dialing and commands, USB mass storage, PC syncing, a file manager, Web-based POP3 e-mail, instant messaging, a voice memo recorder, GPS support with AT&T Navigator support, and full Bluetooth with a stereo profile. But again these features are no different from those offered by the earlier phones launched by Samsung. However, instant messaging hasn’t been included.
The 2.0 megapixel camera comes along with a smile shot feature. [...]

Review Of Samsung Mantra (Virgin Mobile)
Cell Phones — July 27, 2009 at 12:02 amSamsung is the quality products manufacturer. This is one of the very regular models of Samsung. Samsung is much known for the sound quality and also the color and graphics quality. They are the best for the trendier products. Still, they can be definitely used for the modern mechanism and latest technological development.
Virgin mobile has tied up with the Samsung mobile and they are now making the phones with the inbuilt cards and also with some of the best offers for the users so, users need not go for different mobiles and different SIM cards. This is a good step taken by the Virgin Company to promote their cards. The dealing with Samsung makes a more sense as there are millions of Samsung fans in the world, who can probably go for the Virgin SIM card for the usage of Samsung device.
This is just the second introduction of this tie up. The first one was the Slash and this is the [...]
