Talking about design, you have to realize that Sony is a company who’s products; always go hand in hand with the latest trend. It comes in a shiny black ink like covering, with the chrome Sony logo at the top. There is a tiny LCD panel in the center of the receiver, a volume control and the selector buttons on the right and a power button on the left. At the bottom there are eight buttons, an AV button and automatic mike calibration hidden by the plastic panel covering it. the universal remote control looks a little cramped, although it provides [...]

Camcorders — September 11, 2009 at 3:30 pm | 2 CommentsThe DCR-SX41 was designed for user-friendly recording and doesn't pack a lot of extra shooting features.
When set to Auto, the SX41 adjusts the focus, white balance, and even scene selection automatically, to give the best picture it can. But if you want to do things yourself then, there are scene options and the white balance can also be adjusted. There also is a focus and exposure controller. What you cannot do is control the amount of zoom with the screen, making it difficult to use if the cam is supported on to a tripod.
The SX41 also has an ‘Instant-On’ option that gets the fires up the cam to record very fast simply by opening the LCD, although this feature is common it functions smoothly. The auto-focus is very responsive too. The battery life for the power pack, which is included, is an estimated 100 minutes of continuous operation; [...]

Sony MDR-V150 Studio Monitor Headphones
Gadgets — April 17, 2009 at 2:46 am | Comment NowI have spent an endless amount of time and energy searching high and low for the perfect set of headphones that would not cause my ears to become sore after I have worn them on my head for countless hours every day. I would seriously not want to know the total if I were to add up the amount of money I have literally wasted over the years on sets that promised complete comfort, yet offered very little satisfaction. Even using those that cost $70 and above still created this painful problem for me, and many of them simply were not able to produce the sound quality I was looking to find. When I first purchased the Sony MDR-V150 Studio Monitor Headphones I actually could not believe what I was listening to. I had always assumed you had to spend tons of money [...]
