The Baby’s New MP3 Player

Technicians at Manoharbhai Patel Institute of Engineering & Technology in Gondia, India, have come up with a unique invention for unborn babies. It’s a MP3 creation and transmission device for awaited baby.
It is actually a fetal heart monitor and alert system all rolled in one and is being touted as being life saving.
The device monitors fetal heart rate and is based on two small acoustic sensors which feeds information to a wave analyzer which is connected to a personal bedside computer.
The fetus’s heartbeat is picked up by the first microphone which is attached to the mothers abdomen and the other microphone is attached further away to pick up other ambient or bodily noises.
The computer software then subtracts the noise from the fetal sounds and this noise is then converted to a WAV file and saved for further medical examination. Also at times this WAV file can be changed to MP3 format and uploaded via the internet to a doctor’s computer too seek any medical assistance.
Also the team has successfully checked their monitoring system on several women at various stages of pregnancy. Plus to add to it there is absolutely no reason to worry because the system is a passive one and no energy enters the womb.

Do you really believe the electronic waves would do some good to unborn child? I mean, can’t say much on that but doesn’t sound beneficial to me.
I think its great news! I hope it comes in market real soon. It would help us in a lot of aspects of pregnancy.
