The touch screen is looking gorgeous and also the GPS is an additional beauty to the sleek features of the device.
Oops: While the operating is easier, the functionality is some what slower than what it should be. Route calculation takes more time than the other devices. USB port is not in easy mode and proves tough to get handled. Moreover, all such drawbacks cost you more than the regular and traditional equipments and tools. Absence of Bluetooth is visibly flying character.
Specialty: Navigation is too easier and also the voice command recognition is of a good quality. Weight is 6.6 oz.

Our Verdict: Blessings of facilities in just one device makes the TomTom XL 330S an all-rounder device but, only I’m afraid is that the all-rounder is too costlier than what it should be!!

But, the TomTom XL 330 S is making its own identity by some of the flying and flourishing features.
The previous version of TomTom One XL was facing some problems with the speaker quality and also the worst feature of the device was the smaller screen that was an absolute blunder and mess made by the most reputed TomTom Company. But, all the older mistakes are finely furnished in the latest version of XL 330S.
TomTom XL330 S is a beauty with a fascinating 4.3 inch touch screen with ample space for the text writing and also the most appropriate size one should look for the fabulous front of the device. The functions are made so easier and also moderate that anyone could use them with a simpler form. The device could definitely call as the user friendly device. Even we personally feel that function wise it is further better to even the Garmin Nuvi 200 series.
The only drawback that comes in the mind immediately and which actually disappointed us is the removal of integral Bluetooth that was available in all the previous devices. Also the price tag is showing more than what it should be!! Also the traffic updates are not available on the device. So, paying $299 for the device without integrated Bluetooth and traffic updater is difficult to digest either even the lower amount could be transfer to have the Garmin Nuvi 265 WT and Navigon 2200T.
Still, there is some good news in the devices as the GPS of the device is an excellent functionary.

The distinctive feature of the TomTom XL 330S is its GPS. The GPS is having the most attractive functioning that we have ever seen. The round edges and a nice touch screen with the larger display and a classic silver and charcoal gray makes the device an awesome beauty.

XL 330 S is the device with most fascinating and fabulous design of the front and also the beauty of the darling displays. The 4.3 inches diagonal and displays of 64,000 colors at a 480×272-pixel resolution makes the touch screen a super screen. The reading problem due to the narrower size in the previous model is almost finished with XL 330 S. Display brightness is also designed in such a way that you can change or alter it in the way you want. As if the sunlight is more, the display image can be made lower brighter and vice versa by choosing different colors available and by changing the preference menu from the various options like
Day/night/auto mode that is available in the menu.
The icons are also larger and the clear options of menu are nice to view the image. Apart from responsive touch screen, the onscreen keyboard is also nice, spacious and enough to make the text precise and with no mistake. The system of XL 330 S also gives an additional benefit like the predictive text which means that while you are entering letters and numbers, the in built system will automatically help you by predicting the nearest and similar options of words and spellings. There are three modes available for entering text ad they are QWERTY, ABCD, and AZERTY formats, user can select any of his preference.
Other Facilities
The instruments that are offered with the TomTom XL 330 S are a car charger, USB code, a windshield and dash and the user guide that can give the whole detailing of the unit. The size is also so familiar and favorable that the device fits in the easy port mount perfectly.

Feature wise if we see, the TomTom XL 330 S offers similar features to the TomTom One XL and somewhat up gradation are done deliberately in the areas of text-to-speech functionality where an updated speaker system is added to make the sound surrounding more superb and effective.
Performance powered by GPS
Performance of the device is definitely splendid and especially if we talk about the GPS, it gets activated in no time and even in the dense fog environment, the GPS is having a richer functionality. So, the accuracy of the unit can be questioned no where. Route recalculation is generated in a higher speed and also the user is informed if there are no options left.
The voice clarity is quite clear and catchy. The volumes are adjusted in such a way that if you are driving faster, the volume automatically gets louder and in the slower ones the volume makes a slower effect. So, an extra facility of automatic adjustment is offered in the device that eliminates the boring job of adjusting volume.
Overall View
Well, overall the device has no major problems. The prices are somewhat higher definitely, but if you are a GPS crazy, you’ll definitely find the real worth of your money in the device. Apart from GPS, the touch screen and the keyboard are also improved versions but removal of integrated Bluetooth is a real shock. Over all, we find no reason to avoid the device from making you pleasure and satisfied.
